In short
The STF Schweizerische Textilfachschule (Swiss Textile College) in Winterthur has been a training centre for the Swiss textile, fashion and design industry since 1881. As a higher vocational school it offers HF diplomas in textile and clothing technology, textile and process technology and textile and fashion management, bachelor's degrees in fashion design and technology, textile design and technology and interior design awarded through its partner the University of West London, preparation for federal examinations such as garment designer and fashion designer, and basic training as a textile technologist. Its Creative Workspace includes a sewing workshop, flat knitting and industrial embroidery machines, a leather workshop and a textile laboratory.
