Suzhou Institute of Trade & Commerce is a public higher vocational college run by the Jiangsu provincial government in Suzhou, formed in 2003 from the merger of the Jiangsu Suzhou Commercial School, founded in 1961, and the Jiangsu Silk School, set up in 1984. Its School of Textiles, Clothing and Art Creativity offers garment design and technology, clothing and costume design, modern textile technology, digital dyeing and finishing, and textile inspection and trade, among other programmes. The college leads a national industry-education community for advanced textile manufacturing.
