In short

Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne teaches design in a range of areas that include fashion design and industrial and product design, alongside communication design, interior architecture, photography and user experience design. The four-year Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design) (Honours) is taught at the Hawthorn campus. Fashion students explore trend forecasting, collection development, digital fashion, wearables and smart garments alongside traditional fashion design, and students work with industrial sewing machines, 3D printers and laser cutters.
