In short
The Symrise Perfumery School is the in-house perfumer training programme of the fragrance and flavour company Symrise, based at its Holzminden campus in Lower Saxony. Its current graduate trainee programme lasts two and a half years: it begins in Holzminden with raw materials, fragrance chemistry, accords and formulation, taught by the company's perfumers, scientists and evaluators, and continues with rotations to Symrise creative centres abroad. The curriculum also includes art workshops, and trainees finish with exams before a jury that qualify them as perfumers or junior perfumers.
