In short
TaF.tc (Textile and Fashion Industry Training Centre), established in 1983, trains people for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore; its site says TaF.tc is now the marketing arm of the Tembusu Institute and keeps its fashion and textile courses. Programmes include the Diploma in Apparel Design and Product Development, the Advanced Diploma in Fashion Technology and the Diploma in Fashion Business, as well as short courses in drafting and sewing (among them the modern cheongsam and the sarong kebaya) and in garment alteration. The school, at Thye Hong Centre on Leng Kee Road, has sewing workshops and a footwear and bags lab, and says it introduced the country's first courses in footwear design and product development.
