In short
Taishan Polytechnic is a full-time public higher vocational college run by the Tai'an municipal government, at the foot of Mount Tai in Shandong Province. It was formed by merging three earlier schools: the Tai'an agricultural school, the Tai'an mechanical and electronic engineering school and the Tai'an trade school. Its Department of Education and Arts offers majors in clothing and apparel design, jewellery design and craft, and gemstone identification and processing, with industry mentors from garment and jewellery companies.
