In short

Tashkeel is an art and design centre in Dubai, founded in 2008 by Sheikha Lateefa bint Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum as a studio and gallery for visual artists and designers, with sites in Nad Al Sheba and a makerspace in Alserkal Avenue. Its annual programme includes training, residencies, workshops for adults and young people, and Tanween, a one-year skills development programme that takes a cohort of UAE-based designers from concept to a finished product inspired by the UAE. Members and non-members can use studios for printmaking, laser cutting and CNC routing, digital and Risograph printing, and a clay studio.
