In short
The Technical School for Leather Design in Belgrade is a secondary vocational school that traces its history to the Radenička škola, the girls' crafts school opened in 1879 by the Belgrade Women's Society; it specialised in leather in 1961 as the Leather School Centre and later took its current name. It trains leather modelling technicians for leather goods, leather garments and footwear, as well as leather and fur garment makers, leather goods makers and shoemakers; since 2012 it has also taught environmental protection. Classes for part-time students are also offered.
