Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University offers two-year associate-degree programmes in crafts and design through two of its vocational schools. In Tekirdağ, the Vocational School of Technical Sciences runs a Furniture and Decoration programme; in Çorlu, the Çorlu Vocational School runs a Traditional Handicrafts programme, opened in 2002 and covering Turkish arts such as illumination (tezhip) and marbling (ebru) as well as jewellery and fabric work, and an Industrial Product Design programme.
