In short
The Textilakademie NRW in Mönchengladbach is a state-recognised private vocational school set up by the textile and clothing industry associations of north-west Germany and the Rhineland, which concentrate there the school training for technical apprenticeships in the sector. Apprentices attend in two-week blocks, without tuition fees, in occupations such as textile product designer, textile production mechanic, textile finisher, textile laboratory technician and textile and fashion tailor. The academy also offers further-training seminars and a dual block degree in cooperation with Hochschule Niederrhein.
