The Textile Institute of Pakistan (TIP) was founded in 1994 under the aegis of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), in affiliation with Clemson University, to train people for Pakistan's textile industry. It offers a BS in Textile Design Technology, which covers design research, computer-aided design and hands-on work in an industrial design setting, as well as a BBA in Fashion Design Management, a BBA in Apparel Manufacturing & Merchandising, a BBA in Textile Management & Marketing and a BS in Sustainable Textile Science. The main campus is in the Eastern Zone of Bin Qasim, Karachi, with a Learning and Innovation Hub in PECHS.
