The King's Foundation, a charity headquartered at Dumfries House near Cumnock in Ayrshire, runs fashion and textiles programmes under the name Future Textiles, which it says were designed to address a skills gap in the UK textile industry. At Dumfries House it has a Textiles Atelier for school workshops and a Textile Centre for intensive vocational training on industrial machinery, from foundation to artisan level, with sewing, woven and knitted textiles and hand and machine embroidery. With CHANEL and le19M it also runs Métiers d'Art fellowships in embroidery and millinery at a training atelier at Highgrove Gardens.
