Tredu, the Tampere region vocational college, is a multi-sector vocational education provider in Tampere. In the vocational qualification in crafts and design it offers the cabinetmaking field, where students design and make furniture, decorative objects and other wooden products, learn furniture restoration and special joinery techniques, and use solid wood and board materials, as well as the interiors field. In the vocational qualification in textiles and fashion, students learn to design, draft patterns for and make individual made-to-measure garments for women and children, and to produce garments and textile products in series with industrial machines.
