In short
The Department of Industrial Design of Eindhoven University of Technology, which celebrated 25 years of industrial design in 2026, trains designers of intelligent systems, products and related services that bring technology closer to people. The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design combines creativity and aesthetics, technology, mathematics, data and computing, and user and society, with much hands-on work and prototyping in the department's make labs; projects range from smart home systems and intelligent clothing to sustainable materials and health. The programme is based on self-directed, competency-based learning and continues in a master's in Industrial Design.
