In short

The Faculty of Textile Engineering of the Technical University of Liberec was founded in 1960 as the second faculty of what was then the university college. It teaches textile and industrial engineering, textile technologies, clothing production, textile marketing and textile design, at bachelor's, master's and doctoral level. Its programmes include a bachelor's in Design and a follow-up master's in Design covering textiles, clothing, glass and jewellery. The faculty states that it is the only one in the Czech Republic to cover the whole field of textiles.
