The Department of Design of the Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD), part of the Technological University of the Shannon, teaches in specialist studios across the Clare Street and George's Quay campuses in Limerick. After a common first year in art and design, students specialise in ceramics, fashion design, with pathways in sustainability, collection design, applied textiles and technology, animation and motion design or graphic design communication; interior design has direct entry. Its Level 8 degrees include the BA (Hons) Ceramics in Expanding Practice and the BA (Hons) Fashion Design.
