In short

The Academic Unit of Design of the Federal University of Campina Grande, part of its Centre for Science and Technology, offers a Bachelor's degree in Design focused on product design. The course was authorised in 1978 as a degree in Industrial Design, then within the Federal University of Paraíba, and took the name Design in 2013; a master's degree in product design was approved in 2014. It trains designers to develop products for different industrial sectors, with project-based teaching and laboratories.
