In short
The Federal University of Santa Catarina offers an undergraduate course in Product Design in Florianópolis, based at its Centre for Communication and Expression. The course trains designers to conceive, develop and follow product projects through to production, weighing aesthetic, technological, formal and functional aspects, and aims to give students classrooms, laboratories and workshops suited to project work. The university's Department of Graphic Expression also runs a separate Design course and an Animation course.
