In short

UHI North, West and Hebrides, a partner of the University of the Highlands and Islands, teaches a full-time HNC in Jewellery in person at its Stornoway campus in the Outer Hebrides. The workshop-based course covers jewellery design and techniques such as construction, casting and stone setting, with small classes and a personal workbench for each student. Practical exercises are made in brass, while students are encouraged to work in silver or other precious metals for their own design projects.
