In short
The Arts Academy of the University of Split, founded in 1997, has music, fine arts and theatre departments working in several buildings in Split. Its fine arts department includes painting, sculpture, visual communication design, film and video, and a conservation-restoration department whose programme started in 1997, run jointly with the Faculty of Science in Split. The five-year integrated programme leads to a master's degree in conservation-restoration with four specialisations: easel paintings and polychrome wood, stone, wall paintings and mosaics, and metal and archaeological heritage. The department also offers laboratory services and conservation-restoration projects.
