In short

The Centro de Investigaciones de Diseño Industrial (CIDI) of the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México teaches the university's ten-semester degree in Industrial Design. Students take the first two semesters in architecture and then join CIDI through a separate admission process. Training combines design projects with laboratories and workshops in ceramics, wood, mechanics and textiles, where students learn materials and manufacturing processes and build models and prototypes. The faculty also offers a master's in Industrial Design.
