The Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes (UNEARTE) is a Venezuelan public arts university with centres in Caracas and in several states. Among its national training programmes are Orfebrería y Joyería (goldsmithing and jewellery), aimed at the design, creation, production and sale of gold jewellery, and Artes Plásticas, whose specialisations include ceramics and design arts, the latter aimed at designing socially useful objects with attention to technique and the rational use of materials. Programmes follow the five-stage structure of Venezuela's national training programmes.
