In short
The Faculty of Design and Art of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano teaches through interdisciplinary, project-based group work, with studios and workshops on the Bolzano campus. Its three-year bachelor's degree in Design and Art (design curriculum, class L-4) is taught in Italian, German and English: after an introductory warm-up, students choose two projects in product design and two in visual communication, working in groups of up to 20 with three teachers. The faculty also offers master's programmes in Eco-Social Design and Critical Creative Practices and a doctorate.
