In short

The Universidad Austral de Chile teaches a nine-semester Design programme at the Isla Teja campus in Valdivia, leading to a bachelor's degree in design. The programme takes a transdisciplinary approach to design projects and trains students in the production, editing and modelling of objects, spaces and systems, building models and prototypes with the available technologies and materials for one-off and serial works. Graduates work on the management, execution and dissemination of design projects.
