In short
The Centro Universitario de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseño (CUAAD) is the arts, architecture and design centre of the Universidad de Guadalajara, formed from the former faculty of architecture and the schools of fine arts and music. Its degrees include Fashion Design, created in 2010, and Industrial Design, whose faculty began teaching in 1977; postgraduate options include master's degrees in Design and Development of New Products and in Industrial Design and Innovation. Design is taught at the Huentitán campus, while the arts and music occupy two former cloisters in Guadalajara's historic centre.
