In short

The School of Design of the Universidad de Valparaíso is at Avenida El Parque 570, Playa Ancha, in Valparaíso. According to its history page, its roots go back to the Art and Technology courses created in 1966 at the Valparaíso branch of the Universidad de Chile, followed in 1970 by a Department of Industrial Design. The Design degree can be complemented with certifications such as Techniques and Materials for Product Development and Textile and Clothing Creation Techniques, and students work in product design workshops.
