In short
The Universidad del Bío-Bío teaches Diseño Industrial in its Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Design at the Concepción campus, Avenida Collao 1202. The nine-semester programme is built around workshops by level, from form and materials to rural objects made from local resources and sustainable products, and ends with a project validated in a prototype; it awards a bachelor's degree and the professional title, with an intermediate technician exit in design and communication. Students use a prototype workshop for wood, plastic and metal, a digital lab with CNC laser cutter and 3D printers, and the university's wood design and research laboratory.
