The Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado, on the Carretera a Santa Tecla in Antiguo Cuscatlán, offers through its Faculty of Sciences and Arts a five-year blended Licenciatura en Diseño del Producto Artesanal (design of craft products). Students learn manual representation, geometric and volumetric construction, trend research and collection design, and the prototyping and making of textile products, clothing, accessories, jewellery, homeware, lighting and furniture. Graduates can work in the textile, fashion and accessories, and home and furniture sectors, or start their own business.
