In short

The University of Genoa offers a two-year master's degree in Yacht Design, taught in English at the Polo Universitario «G. Marconi» in La Spezia and classed as naval engineering. It covers the design and engineering of leisure craft and large yachts through lectures and design laboratories, with an internship of around 150 hours at shipyards or design studios in the final year. Students can also take part in boat construction and refitting projects.
