The Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts of the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City teaches applied arts at university level. It says it took shape in 1993 and has developed formally within the university since 1996. It runs bachelor's degrees in graphic design, industrial design and fashion design, with departments for each and a department of design fundamentals, and all three programmes have been quality-assessed under Ministry of Education and Training standards. The faculty also carries out research, creative work and exhibitions in applied design.
