The University of Saint Joseph in Macau offers a four-year, full-time Bachelor in Fashion Design within its Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Modules include technical drawing of garments, human figure drawing, fashion history, textile studies with visits to textile mills, knitwear design using knitting machines, in which students develop a collection and make a finished sample, and tailoring, in which each student makes a tailored jacket. Students complete a 90-hour internship with an approved design company and present it to an academic panel before graduating; a portfolio is valued for admission.
