The University of South Wales teaches a BA (Hons) Fashion Design at its city-centre campus in Cardiff, on a floor dedicated to fashion design, promotion and business with two design studios, CAD software and industry-standard machinery. The course combines creative practice, garment construction and digital design with live industry briefs and work placements, and runs for three years full-time or four years as a sandwich course.
