The College of Fine Arts of the University of the Philippines Diliman, in Bartlett Hall in Quezon City, offers four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, among them Industrial Design, which covers the techniques, processes and concepts for designing and developing products and systems, with attention to aesthetics, function, manufacturability and marketability. The college traces its history to the Academia de Dibujo y Pintura founded in Manila in 1823 and celebrated its centennial in 2008. Its facilities include the UP Fab Lab, a ceramics studio and a printmaking studio.
