In short
The School of the Arts of Universiti Sains Malaysia in Penang was established in 1999 and offers six undergraduate programmes, including a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Product Design with Honours. The programme combines design, science and engineering, teaching design theory, aesthetics, human-centred design and sustainable practice, with individual and team projects, collaborations with industry partners, prototyping and production. The school has design studios, workshops and computer labs, and also offers postgraduate study in product design.
