Erciş Vocational School is a vocational school of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University in the town of Erciş, on the northern shore of Lake Van in eastern Turkey, offering two-year associate-degree programmes. According to its history page it was established in the 1993-1994 academic year, following a decision of the Council of Higher Education of 25 February 1993, with construction, electrical and mechanical programmes. Its Department of Handicrafts, founded in 2017, runs a Traditional Handicrafts programme that trains students in carpet and kilim weaving, pattern design, ebru marbling, folk dolls, leather, embroidery and knitting.
