In short
The Vermont Woodworking School, founded in 2007, teaches fine furniture making and woodworking. Its full-time Immersion Program runs in spring, summer and autumn semesters: students enrol for at least nine weeks and can stay up to two and a half academic years, working full days in the shop on projects of their own design under professional furniture makers. The school also runs short workshops, and states that degree options are available through Vermont State University. It is housed in a renovated nineteenth-century dairy barn with machine shops, lathes and a finishing room.
