In short

VIA Design & Business is the design school of VIA University College, based at Birk Centerpark in Herning, with a newer campus in Aarhus, oriented towards the furniture, fashion and lifestyle industries. Its 1.5-year top-up professional bachelor in Design and Business builds on the two-year design technologist programme and has eight specialisations, including Fashion Design, Pattern Design and Furniture Design, with a 10-week internship. Under a national education reform the top-up will stop admitting students from 2028, while the design technologist programme continues.
