In short
The Walsall Leather Skills Centre is a community interest company in the centre of Walsall that trains people for the saddlery and leather goods trades, under a service agreement signed with the Worshipful Company of Saddlers in October 2023. It teaches courses from complete beginner to advanced level, including a Level 1 foundation course, preparation for the City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 Diploma in Saddlery, saddle, bridle and harness making, bag making, pattern cutting and shoemaking. It also supports the Leather Craftsperson and Bespoke Saddler apprenticeships, with classes of at most eight students.
