In short

Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts is a non-profit organisation founded in 1986 that supports artists working with clay on a 54-acre campus in Midcoast Maine, straddling the town line between Newcastle and Edgecomb. It runs year-round residencies, with residents working in the open-plan Windgate Studio and its 11 kilns and living in on-site cabins, and workshops ranging from day-long demonstrations to week-long studio-based courses led by visiting ceramicists.
