Weinbauschule Krems

In short

The Landwirtschaftliche Fachschule Krems, known as the Wein- und Obstbauschule (Weinbauschule) Krems, at Wienerstraße 101 in Krems, describes itself as a place of teaching, training and advice for viticulture and fruit growing, cellar management and marketing. Its modular course trains young winegrowers as skilled workers and then as master winegrowers and cellar masters or fruit-growing masters, with compulsory practice in Austria or abroad and additional qualifications such as junior sommelier. It also offers the VinoHAK (commercial school with the Matura combined with the viticulture qualification), a one-year wine and beverage management course and adult courses.
