Wenzhou Polytechnic University is a public vocational university at bachelor level in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, established in 2026 on the basis of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College. Its School of Design teaches footwear design and craft, a major set up in 2001, together with fashion and apparel design, garment engineering, product art design and digital fashion design. The footwear programme works with Wenzhou shoe companies, and the university states that it leads the national teaching resource library for footwear.
