The Brisbane campus of the Whitehouse Institute of Design, the private design school founded in Sydney in 1988, is at Kangaroo Point, across the river from the city centre, and opened in February 2022. It offers the school's courses in fashion design, creative direction and styling and interior design. The purpose-built campus has atelier rooms for pattern-making and construction with industrial sewing machines and overlockers, photography and illustration studios, computer labs and a design library.
