The Willem de Kooning Academy is the art academy of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, at Blaak 10 and Wijnhaven 61 in the centre of Rotterdam; it has carried the name of its alumnus Willem de Kooning since 1998. Its bachelor programmes include Fashion Design, Product Design and Spatial Design alongside fine art, graphic design, illustration, animation, photography and other fields, and students make their work in shared workshops called Stations. The two-year associate degree Arts & Crafts trains designers in the specialisations fashion, interior, product and furniture, jewellery, packaging and branding, and lifestyle.
