In short
Wuhan Vocational and Technical University is the first public vocational university at bachelor level in Hubei Province, established in 2025 on the basis of Wuhan Vocational and Technical College; its history goes back to 1973. It has three campuses: Optics Valley, Optics Valley East and Macheng. Its School of Fashion and Media combines clothing with digital technology and media with AI, offers one bachelor's and seven diploma majors, and serves as the Hubei training base for the WorldSkills fashion technology competition.
