Wuhan Institute of Design and Sciences is a private undergraduate university founded in 2004, which became an independent institution in 2015; its main campus is on Canglongdao in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, with a second campus in Hong'an. Its School of Fashion Design offers fashion and apparel design, product design with a jewellery design track, fashion performance and fashion communication, with laboratories for garment making, draping, knitwear, printing and dyeing, embroidery and jewellery craft. Its School of Public Art teaches arts and crafts and product design, among other majors.
