In short
The Faculty of Architecture of Yeditepe University, on the 26 Ağustos campus in Ataşehir, Istanbul, was formed in 2014 from the Architecture department and from the Interior Architecture, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, and Industrial Product Design departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Its Industrial Design department, founded in 1997, runs a four-year programme taught in English that covers the design of tools, furniture, automotive and other mass-produced products. After a first year of basic art and design, students take technical, studio and skills courses and work on projects with local, national and international companies. The department states that it was accredited in 2024 by the professional association of industrial designers.
