In short

York College offers a BA (Hons) 3D Creative Practice, a studio-based degree validated by the Open University and taught full-time over three years, three days a week, at its site on Sim Balk Lane in York. Students develop technical making skills across ceramics, metalwork, jewellery, wood, textiles, digital technologies and mixed media, specialising in one material or working across several. Assessment is continuous and based on practical work, and the course ends with a final major project and a professional portfolio.
