Zhengzhou Vocational College of Finance and Taxation is a municipal public higher vocational college at 18 Zhengwei Road, Guancheng District, Zhengzhou, with a new campus being built in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone; it traces its history to the Zhengzhou finance and trade school and became a college in 2013. Mainly a finance and commerce college, it set up a School of Arts in 2021 that teaches fashion and accessory design, interior art design, image design, ceramic design and craft, and dance performance. The ceramics programme covers form design, craft production, firing and brand operation, and in October 2026 the school presented the second edition of an intangible heritage ceramics master class led by Wang Hongwei, a Zhengzhou heritage bearer of ancient pottery firing, teaching wheel throwing, coiling and kiln firing.
