In short
Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology is a private full-time undergraduate university funded by Zhongyuan Huaxin Holding Group, in Xinzheng, Zhengzhou; it was founded in 1997, became a bachelor's-level institution in 2008 and took its current name in 2014. Its School of Art and Design, which started design teaching in 2002 and became a school in 2009, offers six bachelor's programmes, among them product design, industrial design and fashion and accessory design, plus four associate programmes. The four-year fashion and accessory design programme covers design theory, textile materials, garment structure and construction, digital design tools, brand operation and sustainable design, and the school has some 20 practice spaces including garment and product design workshops.
