In short
Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts is a full-time undergraduate art academy in the Zhongmou New District of Zhengzhou; it grew out of a fine arts college of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry founded in 2001 and became independent with Ministry of Education approval in June 2023. Among its ten bachelor's programmes are fashion and accessory design, a Henan first-class programme, product design, and arts and crafts, which teaches the design and making of objects in ceramics, lacquer and fibre. Its workshops include a garment production workshop with an intangible heritage centre, a ceramics workshop and a dyeing and printing training centre, and it runs a provincial modern home-furnishing industry college with the Daxin group.
